Avoid decisions, avoid life

Failing forward, disruptive innovation, leap of faith, success by failure,... or quoting F. Scott Fitzgerald: "Action is Character".  Check out the shared blog post in my Shared Items titled "Avoid decisions, avoid life"...

The author shares his reflections on decision artrosis or analyis paralysis due to the world's increased complexity and our resulting inability to overcome complex thoughts and translate them into action. We have become afraid to draw a line in the sand. People feel overwhelmed by choices and resort to riskless living. According to him and his fortune cookie, that really ain't living.

Although, I sympathise with the idea, it feels like an Americal dream told by an all-American CEO who ended up on the good side of riskful living.

I wonder how the many Americans that faced a foreclosure due to their housing bet would read this optimism.
For those souls, I refer to what Tony Hayward recently quoted from his fortune cookie (a $17 million pension for a job "well" done) : "Life ain't fair... sometimes you step off the pavement and get hit by a bus".
