What makes 'm tick ?

My first 2 evaluations finished. They went relatively well.



Key learnings so far:
1) Even with concrete examples, it is not always easy though to provide co-workers insight into their development points. They have the tendency to reason away the examples.

2) Money makes the world go round - well not for everybody. For some the intrinsic appreciation underlying a good score or promotion is more important than the financial reward attached to it.

3) History matters, even if you have nothing to do with it. Unmet promises from a former boss can haunt you. Seek to understand...

4) Good preparation is key and takes a hell of a time (making an agenda, preparing the key points and examples).

5) Work on the business acumen related to performance (not really my strong point).

And now, it's weekend. Alexander's birthday party on Sunday.
